(Video) Residents of Mowire Embark on Communal Labour

Residents of Mowire on Sunday, March 22, 2026, embarked on a communal labour exercise aimed at improving sanitation and promoting development within the community.

The exercise brought together chiefs, youth, elders, and other residents who joined hands to clean portions of the town, clear choked gutters, weed overgrown areas, and desilt drains to ensure the environment remained clean and healthy.

The communal labour formed part of efforts by the community to maintain cleanliness and encourage collective responsibility among residents. Participants were seen using cutlasses, shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows as they worked at various parts of the town.
